THE PROCESS
Using this service will give you pro-quality drum recordings, without the costs associated with hiring a studio space, engineer, producer and drummer. You’ll also save time and effort, avoiding the tedious admin and organisation that goes with booking a studio session.
Simply send your track(s) via the internet (you can use a web transfer platform like Wetransfer or Yousendit, cloud storage platforms like Dropbox or Google Drive, or specialised service like Gobbler) and after liaising with you in detail about your requirements, I’ll record the drum parts.
There is also an interactive service on offer where I can (via Skype / FaceTime etc.) show you the parts that I will play and you can give feedback / direction before I begin recording.
THE STUDIO
Located 30 miles outside of London, my recording studio is a purpose built drum room which is home to my extensive collection of drums, microphones and high end audio equipment. Designed by renowned acoustician Nick Whitaker, the studio is the perfect location to capture a variety of vintage, modern and creative drum sounds for your project. Please go

Highly capable of working with a detailed project reference or to a more open brief, I regularly collaborate with songwriters, composers and producers from all over the world. The end result is refined via Skype/FaceTime and/or MP3 reference files via email. Once you've found the right feel, sound and dynamic for your project, I'll deliver high quality multi-track recordings via Dropbox or a cloud service of your choice.
Over the years, I’ve built up a great collection of vintage and modern drums and cymbals. With years of experience in the studio, I can help you to capture the sound you need, using only the best instruments available. Please get in touch via email or phone if you have specific questions or requirements.
